In this talk about self-service metrics and alerting, Roy Rapoport describes the approach that Netflix has taken to monitor its production environment. The speaker will walk through the platform they have built and some code samples on how easy it is to setup some of their metrics/alerts. The main point that he will get across is that while each team at Netflix is responsible for their own metrics/alerts, it has been made very easy for them to do so.
